The Dutch international full-back twisted his ankle and despite his attempts to play on he was substituted just 18 minutes into the home win against Liverpool on saturday and is already being considered as doubtful for the trip to Selhurst Park on saturday, 26th February.
One player definately out of the Palace game is Emile Heskey. The Blues striker picked up his fifth booking of the season against his former club on saturday and now faces an automatic one game ban.
