The Scotland intenational striker has undergone tests on the knee injury he sustained during the 1-0 home win against Derby County on 27th January.
The scans have shown that McFadden has medial ligament damage and although he will ot require surgery on the injury Blues boss Alex McLeish has revealed that he expets to be without McFadden for about eight weeks.
