McLeish Content With Points Tally

Blues currently sit in second place in the Championship table, just 4 points behind leaders Wolves but with a game in hand before the Coventry game at St Andrews on Monday evening.

"I think on balance the points tally is fair," McLeish told Sky Sports News.

"I could look at the points dropped and split hairs and say we could have got a point there or three points there and another one there and we would be ten points clear at the top of the table.

"But I'd say it's probably just about panned out with a balance."

McLeish has also advised his defenders to be aware of the threat of former Blues striker Clinton Morrison ahead of the live television clash against the Sky Blues tonight (Monday).

Morrison spent three season's at St Andrews before re-joining Crystal Palace in 2005 and then moving to Coventry on a free transfer this summer.

"He's a good player and a dangerous striker, McLeish added.

"He has good pace and an eye for goal."
