Both players will be out of contract at the end of the season but McLeish has confirmed that talks to extend their contracts have been held.
“I think that we’re working on Liam and Seb. As far as I’m aware, we’re quite close," the Blues boss has told the Birmingham Mail.
“I’m sure the guys will get a fair offer each, certainly money I could only have dreamed of when I was a player.
“I got my fiver rise at Aberdeen and Sir Alex Ferguson said to me ‘you’re bleeding the club dry!’.”
