The Blues striker has moved to The City Ground on loan up to and including 4th April from when Blues will have a 24-hour recall option.
McSheffrey had been sidelined since last September with tendonitis in his knee before returning to action for the first time with a 20 minutes substitute appearance in the away defeat against Sheffield United last weekend.
