Reports suggest that Blues have taken the 20-year-old midfielder, who is currently playing for Ryman Premier League outfit Harrow Borough on non-contract terms, on trial.
Northern Ireland Under-21 international Shroot reportedly began his trial with Blues on Monday, according to Sky Sports.
