Mike Dean In The Middle v Wolves

Mr Dean has been in charge of two Blues games so far this season, one in the league and one in the FA Cup.

The first of these game was in the Premiership and the 3-0 away defeat to Manchester Utd at Old Trafford in October. Blues keeper Maik Taylor was shown a red card for a professional foul on Paul Scholes on that day. Aliou Cisse receiving a yellow card for arguing the decision.

The Wirral official was also the man in charge of Blues' FA Cup 5th round replay against Sunderland at St Andrews back in February. No Blues players were cautioned on that night.

Mr Dean has also refereed two Wolves games so far this season, the first of which was in their 1-1 draw with Bolton Wanderers at The Reebok on 27th September. No Wolves players were cautioned on that occasion.

His last game in charge of a Wolves game was in their 4-1 defeat to Leeds at Elland Road on 10th February. Colin Cameron and Denis Irwin booked on that night.

In total then, Mr Dean has been in charge of 17 Premiership games so far this season in which he has handed out 50 yellow cards and 3 reds.
