Mooney staying with Derby

Mooney, who has had two other loan spells this season at Sheffield United and Stoke City, was signed by Rams boss John Gregory just days before he was suspended from the managers post at the end of last month.

However, after making two appearances for Derby's 'interim boss' George Burley, Blues have allowed the relegation-threatened Rams to extend Mooneys loan spell until the end of the Nationwide season.
