Morrison In Contention

The Republic of Ireland international came through the 1-0 win at Billingham Synthonia unscathed and is now in line for a first team place for the game against Rovers at Ewood Park.

The Blues striker has been sidelined for the past five weeks having undergone surgery on a knee injury sustained whilst playing for the Republic of Ireland against France in Paris last month.

Morrisons availability for the live television clash on Sunday will come as a major boost to manager Steve Bruce whose goal shy side have managed just one goal in their last five Premiership outings.
