The 27-year-old Scottish striker, who missed a lot of last season with a hip injury that required surgery, has put pen to paper on a new six-month contract with Blues.
If O'Connor, who made just six first team starts last season, proves that he has fully recovered from the injury then Blues do have the option to extend the contract by a further six months.
