Vaesen came through the game at Damson Park, his first match action since damaging knee ligaments in the Premiership clash against Aston Villa in March, and played the whole game as Keith Bertschins side picked up a point against Everton on Wednesday night.
Blues boss Steve Bruce, who was at the game against Everton Reserves, has hinted that Nico could be loaned out now to get much needed first-team action.
