O'Connor comes in after Chris Iwelumo pulled out with a hamstring injury and amid concerns over Steven Fletcher's fitness for the opening game in Kaunas on Friday night.
Barnsley defender Jay McEveley also comes in after full-backs Lee Wallace and Kevin McNaughton both withdrew through injury on Monday.
