O'Connor Injury Not As Bad As First Feared

Manager Alex McLeish has confirmed that the Blues striker will not require surgery on the groin injury he sustained prior to the match at Loftus Road on 28th October.

"Garry O'Connor went out with a groin injury that we thought might be quite serious but there's better news ahead for him," McLeish told BBC Radio WM.

"We don't think he'll be out as long.

"He doesn't need an operation.
