The Blues striker has withdrawn from George Burley's squad, who travel to Japan on Wednesday, for the match in Yokohama City on Saturday, 10th October with an undisclosed injury.
O'Connor sustained a leg injury during Blues' 2-1 away defeat against Burnley on Saturday, although, despite limping through the final ten minutes, he did complete the full ninety minutes of the match at Turf Moor.
