O'Leary admits Villa will be underdogs

The game will be the Villa boss' first taste of a second City derby and he feels that with Blues starting the game well above his side, in terms of points and position in the Premier League table, they will be made favourites for the first derby game of the season at St. Andrew's next Sunday.

“I didn’t see last season’s two derbies, but I keep hearing we need to show more passion this time and I can assure you we will be going there to win," the Villa boss told his clubs official website.

“If anything we will possibly be underdogs at St Andrew’s because Blues have made such a good start to the season.

"Steve Bruce has done really well since he took over as manager and has bought in some quality players."
