Tait, now 33-years-old, made more than 150 appearances for Blues between 1988 and 1999 before moving on to Northampton Town, Oxford United and more recently to play in Cyprus.
He became a cult hero with the Blues fans after revealing his infamous S*** On The Villa t-shirt after scoring the golden goal winner for Blues in the Auto Windscreens Shield Final victory against Carlisle at Wembley in 1995.
