"He is still a young lad and he still has things to learn about the game, obviously, at that age, but on saying that you can see what people think about him," Vale boss Lee Sinnott told his club's official website.
"It has been good having him here.
"He has made that progression from being on loan at Notts County in League Two and he has certainly looked the part in League One."
