Player Ratings

Maik Taylor - Never had a shot to save, and kicking was ok, actually.

Melchiot - Injured early on.

Clapham - Performed admirably and is proving a few points.

Upson - Strong but not overly exerted.

Cunningham - Back to his 'right place, right time' best.

Pennant - Always a threat, and a good assist.

Gray - Better all round and hopefully his goal will help.

Johnson - Battled well.

Clemence - His best performance in a Blues shirt.

Pandiani - Tireless work and pure strength at times, excellent.

Heskey - Gave Hyypia a torrid time, also excellent.

SUBS:

Tebily - Shocking first half, slightly better second.

Nafti - Was sensible in use of the ball.

Blake - Only on for 2 mins.
