"Steve has said he will consider loaning Paul Furlong when he is fit," Fry told the official Posh website.
"He should have played in a reserve game last week but didn't make it.
"He is pencilled in for a Wednesday reserve game at Sheffield United from where he returned injured after a loan spell when he scored three goals in five games.
"We'll have to see what happens later in the week but failing that there is a chance we could take Dele Adebola to the end of the season.
"But he has been out for a long time through injury and I have to make sure he is match fit before coming to a decision."
