The 30-year-old midfielder's current one month loan deal expires at the end of this week and the Blues boss has confirmed that he is hopeful of keeping the former Scotland international at St Andrews for a further month.
Quashie, who will miss Friday night's away game at Swansea through suspension, has made just two starts during his first one month loan spell with Blues.
