Sartor trial talk premature?

The AS Roma defender claimed on Wednesday that he was due to begin a ten-day trial at St. Andrew's with the possibility of joining the club in January.

However, a spokesman for the club has told the Birmingham Post that these claims are a bit premature: "This is something that we are certainly looking into.

"It is a possibility at this stage but nothing definite has been arranged.

"To say he is coming for a trial is premature."
