Sav Facing Two Game Ban?

The Blues midfielder was controversially booked by Essex referee Andy D'Urso for not moving away at a free-kick although Sav claims Wanderers midfielder Ivan Campo kicked the ball at him.

In their after-match comments both Savage and manager Steve Bruce said that takes the Wales international onto ten cards for the season, which warrants a two game suspension.

If that was Savage's tenth caution he will now be forced to sit out the game at Middlesbrough on March 20th and the live television clash against Leeds Utd at St. Andrews the following week.
