The Blues boss, responding to the ludicrous rumours linking the Wales international midfielder with a possible move acroos the City to neighbours Aston Villa, told the Birmingham Evening Mail on Wednesday that he had spoken to Savage about a new three year deal at St Andrews and the player had shook hands on the deal.
