The Blues midfielder, who underwent surgery on a back problem at the end of last season, sat out the game against Cheltenham Town on Saturday and will take no part in Blues' pre-season tour of Germany this coming week.

He is hoping to get in a game in Blues' first friendly back on home soil against The Owls at Hillsborough on Wednesday, 28th July.
