However, he is making better progress than first anticipated and when questioned by reporters in his homeland about his availabilty for his Nations international games in May, Lazaridis is quoted as saying he will be fit for them and that he is hoping to be back in Steve Bruce's squad for the live telivision clash against Arsenal at Highbury on saturday 1st May.
