Terry Westleys side defended resolutely but didn't really threaten the oppositions goal all night.

Their first effort on goal came when Jay OShea beat a couple of defenders but fired wide from about 18 yards out 51 minutes into the game at Nantwich Towns Weaver Stadium.

Blues' only other real goalscoring opportunity came with just two minutes of normal time remaining when second half substitute Akwasi Asante tried his luck with a long range effort which sailed over the Stoke City crossbar.

And so, Blues Reserves side remain winless having now drawn two and lost two of their first four Barclays Premier Reserves League South fixtures.
