Blues only have until 5pm on Monday evening to wrap up the signing of the 24-year-old utility defender but the Blues boss is optimistic that the deal will be finalised before that time.
"I expect Martin Taylor to sign," Bruce said after the 1-1 draw with Newcastle on saturday.
"There are just a couple of tiny details that need sorting out. He has passed his medical."
