Bruce is pencilling-in next Wednesdays reserve team fixture against Blackburn Rovers at Damson Park as a possible date on which the Ivory Coast international defender could make his return after four months out with a knee ligament injury.
"We are looking at Olivier playing in a reserve game next week and it's good that we have another body moving closer to fitness," said the Blues boss.
Tebily has been sidelined since sustaining the injury during the 1-1 draw with Charlton Athletic at St. Andrews on 21st December.
