Tebily set for return

The Ivory Coast international, who has been sidelined with the injury since limping-off during the 1-1 draw with Everton on 28th August, expects to resume full training on Monday and hopefully will be ready for Blues' local derby game with West Brom later this month.

This is good news for Blues boss Steve Bruce who is already short of defensive players with Michael Johnson and Martin Grainger out of action for several months with groin and knee injuries respectively and Darren Purse suspended for The Hawthorns clash after picking up his fifth booking of the season against Newcastle last weekend.

"The two-week gap between the West Ham and West Brom game gives us a chance to try and get Olivier back fit," said Bruce.
