The left-back jinx continues!

The 22-year-old Blues left-back, who is on a season long loan at Loftus Road, fell over a pot-hole on a practice pitch on Monday and a scan has revealed a complete rupture of the anterior fibula ligament and a substantial tear to the calcaneo fibula ligament.

Rangers manager Ian Holloway said: "It was a freak accident. There was a pot-hole in the training ground and he went over on it.

"I'm not happy about it, but that's life."

Williams, who has made 24 appearances for QPR this season, could be sidelined for months with the injury.

What is it with Blues left-backs?
