The 20-year-old striker, who made his first team debut when Blues met Scunthorpe in the 2nd Round of the Carling Cup last month, is moving to Glanford Park on an initial one month loan deal. "He's got the credentials and ability to do well for us.
"Steve Bruce would like to get him some games and I've watched him twice more since our game and I've liked what I've seen," Iron boss Brian Laws told BBC Sport.
"I think it'll be good for him as much as it'll be good for us."
The loan deal is expected to be concluded on Thursday morning.
