Blues' new vice-chairman Sammy Yu has revealed that he and manager Alex McLeish are close to completing their list of potential transfer targets.
Blues' new owners have promised McLeish a £40million budget to spend on new players in the January transfer window and he has met with the vice-chairman to discuss the players he has on his radar. "We are almost there with our shortlist," Yu told The Birmingham Mail. "Alex and myself will finalise the list and then we will get going.
"Some things we will start to do in the next week or two.
"The areas where Alex wants to strengthen have been identified and we will be trying to bring in the kind of quality that is required."
