The versatile defender, who is yet to make a first team appearance for Blues since joining on loan from Pompey on 10th February, underwent scans on the hamstring injury that he sustained in a reserve team friendly match against Irish side St. Patricks Athletic last week.
Blues boss Alex McLeish has confirmed that the scans have revealed a grade two tear of his hamstring which will sideline him for about seven weeks.
