Blues have promised to take a strong first team squad to Whaddon Road on Saturday for the friendly that was arranged as part of the deal that saw promising youngster Jamie Price move from The Robins to St Andrew's earlier this summer.

Mario Melchiot, Muzzy Izzet and Julian Gray have all trained with their new Blues team mates this week and are expected to be included in the squad for the game against The Coca Cola League Two side..

Blues other two new summer signings, Emile Heskey and Jesper Gronkjaer will not be included as they were given extended leave following their excursions to the Euro 2004 finals in Portugal. They will link up with the rest of the squad for the pre-season tour of Germany next week.

Kick off at Whaddon Road on saturday is 3pm with admission at the turnstiles priced at £12 adults and £6 concessions in any area of the ground - standing or seating.
