Upson Gets England Recall

The Blues centre-back, who was left out of the England squad that participated in the Euro 2004 finals in Portugal earlier this summer, has been named in Sven-Göran Eriksson's squad for the game at St James Park, Newcastle on Wednesday, 18th August.

Blues striker Emile Heskey, who came in for some rather unwarranted criticism following Englands opening group game against France in Portugal, has also been named in the 24-man squad.
