The Sheffield official has refereed two Blues fixtures so far this season, both at St. Andrews.

His first game in charge of Blues this season was in the home win against Manchester City on Boxing Day when Robbie Savage and Matty Upson were shown yellow cards.

Saturdays fixture will be Mr Rennie's first game in charge of a game involving Middlesbrough so far this season.
