Uriah Rennie Refs Sunderland Game

Last updated : 23 November 2005 By Brian Cartlidge

Neither Blues nor Sunderland have had the pleasure of the South Yorkshire official refereeing any of their games so far this season.

The last Blues game that Uriah Rennie refereed was in our 2-1 home defeat to Bolton Wanderers in April this year. Matthew Upson and Emile Heskey were both cautioned during that game.

The last Sunderland game that Mr Rennie took charge of was in their 3-0 FA Cup 4th Round defeat at Everton in January. Stephen Elliot and Stephen Wright were both booked for The Black Cats on that occasion.

In total Uriah Rennie has taken charge of 14 League and Cup games so far this season in which he has handed out 25 yellow crads and 2 reds.

Mr D Babski and Mr J Devine will be Uriah Rennie's assistants for the game at The Stadium of Light on Saturday.
