Wenger Praise For Taylor

With Blues down to ten men following Kenny Cunningham's sending off on 24 minutes, Talor denied the Arsenal strikeforce with brilliant save after brilliant save only to be beaten finally by a deflected Robin van Persie effort nine minutes from time.

"Only a goal like that would have beaten Taylor, the way he played today," Wenger said after the game.

"I've rarely seen such a performance by a visiting goalkeeper at Highbury.

"If it had been a hard shot, he would have stopped it. We kept going, they started suffering a bit from fatigue and we got lucky with an unusual goal.

"But there was something special out there and it was called Taylor."
