Terry Westley's side were a goal behind early into their latest Barclays Premier Reserves League South fixture at Telford's New Bucks Head stadium on Tuesday evening.

Cameroon defender George Elokobi gave the home side a 1-0 lead with just two minutes gone.

Franck Queudrue came closest to equalising for Blues on 20 minutes with Wolves keeper Matt Murray saving well from the Frechman's 35-yard effort.

Westley replaced left back Gregory Vignal with youngster Luke Rowe for the start of the second half but the change of personnel did nothing to help Blues' cause.

With five minutes of the second period played Wolves' midfielder Greg Halford doubled the home side's advantage.

Blues' best chance of the night fell to Robin Shroot in stoppage time but he failed to find the net when one-on-one with Wolves' substitute keeper Danny East.

And so Blues' second string's poor start to the season continues. They are yet to record a win and remain firmly rooted at the foot of the table with just three points from their opening seven league games.
