Yorke has joined from Rovers for an undisclosed fee on a one year deal with the club having a further one years option on that.
The deal to bring the Trinidad and Tobago international to St Andrews was completed just minutes before the closing of the transfer window at midnight on Tuesday.
Being an ex-Viler Yorke might not be every Blues fans favourite but it has become quite evident that Blues need more firepower up front, having scored just twice in their four games so far this season, and Yorke has proved in the past that he definately knows where the net is.
