Mikael Forssell

The likes of Liverpool, Newcastle and Aston Villa have already been linked.

He is sheer quality, a natural talent … apparently he scored 14 goals in one game for his team when he was a youngster! Okay, he hasn't scored that many a game for the Blues, but 16 league goals so far this season isn't bad, only 2 goals off Van Nistelrooy and Saha, of Manchester United.

Forssell would have his work cut out to return to Stamford Bridge and challenge with the likes of Crespo & Mutu. Yes, he is very ambitious, but he wouldn't want to wreck his international career, by being put on the bench every game, and having 3 minutes of play towards end of a game, in other words "to waste time."

At least with Blues he will be guaranteed first team football week in, week out, which can only help his international career with Finland. And if Blues keep developing and growing as a club who knows, within a season he could be playing with Blues in the Champions League.

Lets face it, Chelsea don't need the money, but Forssell needs piece of mind - at the end of the day he has a career to take care of, if he returns to Chelsea, could that affect his international chances with Finland?

He is loved by the fans, management, EVERYBODY involved with Blues, isn't that enough? "A big fish in a small pond."
