Tribute To The Fans

Let's face it Blues aren't ready for the likes of Europe and Champions League (neither are the Villa, but it now seems inevitable that a UEFA Cup Spot is theirs) but we need to reflect, and look at the situation…this is our SECOND season in the top flight and to be sitting tenth shows a lot of character & spirit - we have been unfortunate with injuries and bans this season (again) but that's football.

Blues have used this season to cement us into the league that: "everybody wants to be in!" Next season is where we need to try
and get a UEFA Cup Spot, or even a Champions league place (depending on the players that are transferred to St. Andrews over the summer, and whether they bond well as a team)

This season us BlueNoses have got a little carried away - I know we have threw a lot of silly points away, and given sloppy goals here and there but the positive way to look at the situation is; we're going to be playing premiership football next season, with the likes of Man U, Arsenal and Chelsea - the board have admitted that they are willing to give transfer funds for 4 or 5 quality, international footballers (It looks like we're going to have an exciting summer)

All credit to the Blues fans, this season (like every) you have been absolutely sublime, the cheering, singing, and support that Blues fans chant around the ground is electric, surely the best in the premiership? In particular the last home game of the season against Liverpool, we're 3-0 down and the Tilton was buzzing, Steve Bruce was having his name sang around St. Andrews "there's only one Steve Bruce", fans were dancing - in the Tilton a train of about 20 people were walking around the seats, singing - absolutely terrific.
