Blues have not had the pleasure of the Merseyside-based official refereeing any of their games so far this season although Mr Foy has taken charge of one Barnsley fixture this season.
Chris Foy was the man in charge of Barnsley's 2-1 away defeat at Sheffield Wednesday back in October. Paul Heckingbottom and Sam Togwell were the two Tykes players booked during that game.
