Chris Foy Refs Pompey Game

Blues have already had the pleasure of the Merseyside-based official taking charge of one of their league games so far this season whilst Mr Foy has refereed two Pompey fixtures during this campaign.

The last time Chris Foy refereed a Blues fixture was in our 1-0 defeat to Arsenal at Highbury back on 2nd October 2005. Blues skipper Kenny Cunningham was sent off that day whilst Stephen Clemence picked up a yellow card.

The last time Chris Foy took charge of a Portsmouth fixture was in their game against Manchester United on 3rd December 2005. Andy Griffin was the only Pompey player booked during the 3-0 defeat at Old Trafford.

In total Chris Foy has taken charge of 22 League and Cup games so far this season in which he has handed out 53 yellow cards and 6 reds.

Mr D Babski and Mr A Butler will be Chris Foy's assistants for the game at St Andrew's on Saturday afternoon.
