Howard Webb Refs Everton Tie

Last updated : 18 January 2010 By Brian Cartlidge

Blues have already had the pleasure of the South Yorkshire-based official refereeing one of their games so far this season as Howard Webb was the man in the middle for our Premier League home match against Aston Villa on 13th September. Stuart Parnaby was the only Blues player booked in our 1-0 defeat at St Andrews on that occasion.

In total, Howard Webb has taken charge of 18 games so far this season in which he has handed out 66 yellow cards and 4 reds although this total will change before Saturdays game as Mr Webb is to referee the Carling Cup semi-final first leg tie between Manchester City and Manchester United on Wednesday night

Peter Kirkup and Mike Mullarkey will be Howard Webb's assistants for the 4th Round tie at Goodison Park on Saturday afternoon.
