Howard Webb Refs Man Utd Game

Last updated : 27 December 2005 By Brian Cartlidge

Blues have not had the pleasure of the South Yorkshire official refereeing any of their games so far this season whilst Mr Webb has taken charge of two of Uniteds games this campaign.

The last Blues game that Howard Webb took charge of was in our 1-1 home draw against Tottenham back on 2nd April this year. No Blues players were booked that day.

The last time Howard Webb refereed a Man Utd game was in their 3-2 away win against Fulham on 1st October. Darren Fletcher was the only United player booked on that occasion.

In total Howard Webb has taken charge of 17 League and Cup games so far this season in which he has handed out 52 yellow cards and 3 reds.

Mr R Burton and Mr M Cairns will be Howard Webb's assistants for the game at St Andrew's on Wednesday night.
