Howard Webb Refs Newcastle Game

Blues have not had the pleasure of the South-Yorkshire based official taking charge of any of the games so far this season.

Last season Howard Webb refereed two Blues games the last of which was in our 1-0 home defeat to Liverpool in the League Cup 4th round on 11th November 2006. Radhi Jaidi, Medhi Nafti and Seb Larsson all picked up yellow cards during that game.

Prior to the Liverpool game Mr Webb had taken charge of our Championship draw against Ipswich on 16th September 2006. Seb Larsson was the only Blues player booked during the 2-2 draw at St Andrews on that occasion.

In total Howard Webb has taken charge of 31 games so far this season in which he has handed out 100 yellow cards and 2 reds.

P. Sharp and M. Mullarkey will be Howard Webb's assistants for the game at St Andrews on Monday evening.
