Iain Williamson Refs Ipswich Match

Last updated : 22 December 2008 By Brian Cartlidge

Blues are yet to have the pleasure of the Berkshire-based official refereeing any of their games this season.

The last time Iain Williamson took charge of a Blues match was in our 4-3 Football League Championship away defeat against Souhampton on 29th November 2006. Radhi Jaidi, Cameron Jerome, Stephen Kelly and the now departed Fabrice Muamba all picked up yellow cards at St Mary's on that occasion.

In total Iain Williamson has taken charge of 16 games this season in which he has handed out a somewhat massive 75 yellow cards and 4 red cards.

Glenn Hambling and Chris Francis will be Iain Williamson's assistant's for the match at Portman Road on Friday afternoon (Boxing Day).
