Kevin Friend Refs Bristol City Match

Last updated : 14 September 2008 By Brian Cartlidge

Blues have not had the pleasure of the Leicestershire-based official taking charge of any of their games so far this season.

The last time Kevin Friend refereed a Blues match was in our 1-0 Championship game home win against Cardiff City back on 4th March 2007. The now departed Mat Sadler was the only Blues player booked on that occasion.

In total Kevin Friend has taken charge of 6 games so far this season in which he has handed out 18 yellow cards and 1 red.

M. Thompson and A. Sainsbury will be Kevin Friend's assistants for the game at Ashton Gate on Tuesday evening.
