Blues have not had the pleasure of the Leicestershire-based official refereeing any of their games this season although he did take charge of one of our games last season.

The last time Kevin Friend was in charge of a Blues match was in our Football League Championship away game against Bristol City on 16th September 2008. Seb Larsson, Martin Taylor and the now departed Kemy Agustien were the three Blues player booked in our 2-1 win at Ashton Gate.

In total, Kevin Friend has taken charge of 5 games so far this season in which he has handed out 22 yellow cards and one red card.

Nigel Bannister and David Coote will be Kevin Friend's assistants for the Premier League match at Turf Moor on Saturday afternoon.
